career: Ran the Crime Lab for the Kentucky State Police. The lab was located on the U of L Shelby Campus. It served state, city and county police. Later John went into sales with Hewlett Packart. He also tried his hand at contracting construction of homes and managing medical offices.

John attended Greathouse grades 1-6. He rode his bike to school. His principal was Mr. Rogers.

John's parents were in this house when he was born. They stayed here till about 1958. At that time they moved to Chamberry by Seneca Park. John used to ride his bike to Greathouse Elementary School. The house sides up to St. Matthews Baptist Church's property.

They lived in an apartment for two years, then were able to buy a starter house. This is the den.
